The central purpose of thinking is to deal with technological problems. We can’t deal with technological problems because we use thinking to build walls that harm us getting along with each other. Thinking is now our enemy because we believe in the things that thinking has created. We have become lazy so we identify. So now we think what matters is the car we drive, the house we live in, the letters after our name, and our self-centered religious and political beliefs. We are not any of those identifications if we see the stupidity of them. Only then can we come to what is true and compassionate.

Some questions have to be as constant as the air you breathe. It is these questions that cleanse the brain of all illusions created by thought. The only problem is thought keeps refining and creating more illusions.
